This Junction Box is specifically designed to be weatherproof and serves as a control box for traffic signals. It features machined knockouts that accommodate glands of different sizes, allowing for cable entry from the sides and bottom of the case.
Internally, this fabricated enclosure is fully sealed and includes a foam bead gasket, providing protection for all internal electronics against the elements. Constructed from our stock of UL94 V0 listed ABS material, this enclosure is ideal for outdoor use as it offers UV protection. Considering the harsh environment it will be exposed to, the design prioritises robustness.
Internally, reinforced standoffs with brass inserts provide a sturdy platform for mounting the internal electronics. Additionally, the enclosure has a mounting flange at the top, facilitating an attachment to the metal struts on the back of the traffic signals.
